Kim and I had a great time in Sydney, N.S. today. We delayed our trip to the "Cove" to collect rocks and shite, that`ll be tomorrow. But instead we had a nice drive to Louisburg (30 min. drive) with painter, Cape Breton resident, Gary LeDrew. Gary lived at the lighthouse as a child and had wonderful stories to share with us. If you remember I featured a couple of his paintings on this FB page a while back and it got MANY likes...and I said then that I would look Gary up when on vacation in the Maritimes and I`m glad I did. And I bought this Gary LeDrew painting today entitled: Toilers of The Sea.
